WiPath LED Sign Programmer

The WiPath LED Sign Programmer consists of a serial cable, a networking cable, a serial-to-network adapter, LED Sign programming software and LED Sign Pager Interface programming software. Initial setup of the LED Sign Programmer involves connecting the network cable to the LED Sign being programmed and to the serial-to-network adapter. The serial cable is also connected to the serial-to-network adapter and an available COM port on the computer. Apply power to the LED Sign. Install, run and configure the WiPath sign programming software named “LEDConfig”.

Manufacturer: WiPath

The “LEDConfig” program allows you to design an LED Sign message using a number of different formats.  Up to 25 font selections for character size and shading, 13 color combinations for either individual or mixed color schemes, message speed and alignment settings, and 28 style options for message movement are available for message development in any combination of these features.  The finished message can be uploaded to the LED Sign locally through the “LEDConfig” software.  To enable the new message, cycling the power to the LED Sign may have to be performed.

Uploading a message to a WiPath LED Sign can also be accomplished by paging the sign through a local or wide area paging network.  The LED Sign’s built-in Paging Interface is configured by using the WiPath “PDT3P” programming software.  POCSAG or FLEX version of LED Signs can be programmed with the software.  Frequency, capcodes, and I/O settings are just some of the configurable parameters in the “PDT3P” program.  Documentation for both “LEDConfig” and “PTD3P” programs provides detailed information for the setup and operation of the software programmers.
