Messages for the LED sign are created using the WiPath “LED Config” software. Multiple combinations of options can be selected to display the message in just the right way. Message alignment can be left, right, or centered, and the message can be programmed to move at one of 5 different speeds. Some of the many individual colors the message could be set to are Red, Green, Yellow Brown, Orange, and Amber. Various color mixing schemes can also be employed to give a different look. Character font selections can be configured for size, width, and shading considerations. Selecting particular “Fancy” fonts will display the message in 2 line format. To make a message really stand out, over 25 display styles like Roll Left, Wipe Down, Flash, Slide, Spray, and Sparkle are available for selection.
The configured message can be uploaded to the sign locally while using the “LED Config” software. In addition, the LED sign’s integrated paging receiver allows users the capability to send an alphanumeric message with updated information to the sign through local or wide-area paging networks. Multiple signs can be configured to receive the same information simultaneously. The paging interface is configured through the WiPath “PDT3P” programming software and sets the frequency, baud rate, and capcodes as well as other desired options.
