The USAlert NP35 Pager Programmer consists of a programming fixture labeled UB-08, a standard USB cable, and NP35 programming software. The USB cable connects to an operational USB port on the computer and to the NP35 programming fixture. Once attached, the green power LED on the fixture near the USB connection should light. The NP35 programming software is also used to program the USAlert Alpha 2 and NP40 pagers. The NP35 is designated as “J8” in the software, the Alpha 2 as “J25” and the NP40 as “J7”.
The USAlert NP40 Pager Programmer consists of a programming fixture labeled as UB-07, a standard USB cable, and NP40 programming software. The programming software is also used to program the USAlert Alpha 2 and NP35 pagers. Programming the NP40 from the three available pager types is determined by selecting the appropriate pager designation – J7 for the NP40, J8 for the NP35, and J25 for the Alpha 2.
The NP88 Pager Programmer includes a 4-pin programming fixture, a DB9 serial cable, a 5 VDC 1A power adapter, and separate programming software for FLEX or POCSAG versions of the NP88 Pager. The programming fixture and software can only be used to program the NP88 Pager and are not compatible with any other Unication pagers.
The Gearstar Pager Programmer consists of a coaster type programming fixture, a DB9 serial cable, a 5 VDC 1A power adapter, and a programming software package. The software is available in two separate programs, one for pagers using the POCSAG coding format and one for pagers using the FLEX format.
The Federal Signal Informer Programmer includes a network programming cable, a serial communications cable, a network-to-serial cable adapter, a 9 VDC 500ma power adapter, and Informer programming software.
The WiPath LED Sign Programmer consists of a serial cable, a networking cable, a serial-to-network adapter, LED Sign programming software and LED Sign Pager Interface programming software. Initial setup of the LED Sign Programmer involves connecting the network cable to the LED Sign being programmed and to the serial-to-network adapter. The serial cable is also connected to the serial-to-network adapter and an available COM port on the computer. Apply power to the LED Sign. Install, run and configure the WiPath sign programming software named “LEDConfig”.
