Hytera PD662G Digital Portable Radio

The Hytera PD662G is a durable and feature-rich Digital Portable Radio with a rugged, reliable and compact design. The “G” version stands for GPS and the built-in GPS module allows the radio to integrate with the Hytera Dispatch System or other 3rd party GPS dispatching systems. Rigorously tested and compliant to both MIL-STD 810 C/D/E/F/G and IP67 specifications, the PD662G is totally protected against dust intrusion and can withstand the effects of immersion for up to 30 minutes at a depth of 1m. Capable of both voice and data communications as well as operating in both digital and analog modes, the portable is an affordable solution for those organizations using multiple types of radio communications.

Manufacturer: Hytera

Standard accessories for the PD662G include a 1500 maHr Li-Ion battery, a MCU rapid-rate charger, a power adapter, antenna and belt clip. Battery life using the 5/5/90 duty cycle is approximately 16 hours in digital mode and 11 hours in analog mode. The radio is available in the VHF or UHF (extended to 527 MHz) frequency ranges, has a channel capacity of 1024, and a transmit power output setting for either low power or high power. Its small and sleek dimensions are 4.8 x 2.2 x 1.1 inches and its weight is 10.9 oz.

The Pseudo Trunking feature allocates a free timeslot for emergency situations, effectively enhancing frequency efficiency. DMO True 2-Slot / DMRA Direct Mode can provide 2-slot communication, which allows two talk paths on one frequency. Secure communications in analog mode is achieved with basic/advanced digital encryption and Scrambler feature. The PD662G supports multiple analog signaling modes including HDC1200, 2-Tone and 5-Tone. A One Touch Call/Text feature is used with pre-programmed text messages and voice calls.
