WiPath PDT3000 Paging Data Terminal

The WiPath PDT3000 Paging Data Terminal is a multi-function digital paging device that can be mounted on a wall, in a vehicle, or placed on a desktop to receive and show incoming messages on a large graphical LCD display. The unit itself has the approximate physical dimensions of 9” L by 3.5” H and 2” W while the message display measures about 5” by 1.5”. The sunlight readable LCD displays messages in 8-line format with 40 characters/line, or zooms to a 4-line display with 20 larger characters/line. The PDT3000 has all the features and performance of the WiPath PDR3000 Paging Receiver, and adds the graphical LCD display. The PDT3000 is available in VHF, UHF, or 900 MHz frequency models, comes with either the POCSAG or FLEX coding format, and operates with wideband channel spacing. 40 messages can be stored in memory and 10 of those can be locked and protected from being overwritten if message memory is exceeded.

Manufacturer: WiPath

The paging terminal has a number of input, output and control options, configurable by selecting a back case with the desired connector combinations.  It can print messages directly to a serial or parallel printer, output messages through its serial ports for controlling devices like LED signs, and receive alarm inputs that can be re-transmitted if an optional transmitter is connected.  A built-in POCSAG paging encoder can be used for repeater or rebroadcast applications.

The PDT3000 has four internal relay outputs that can be controlled individually by using a received message or capcode.  Additional relays can be interfaced by using an external WiPath RCM3000 relay board.  Programming the PDT3000 is accomplished through the WiPath PDT3P software package.
