USAlert NP40 Numeric Pager

The USAlert NP40 is a 12-digit Numeric Pager with a front-mounted display. The pager can hold up to 20 messages in memory and supports 4 capcode addresses. The POCSAG coded NP40 is available in VHF, UHF, Midband, or 900 MHz frequency bands, is synthesized, and has separate receiver boards for wideband and true narrowband operation. The NP40 is identical to the USAlert NP35 numeric pager with the exception being a top-mount display on the NP35 and a front-mount display on the NP40.

Manufacturer: USAlert

Programming the pager can be accomplished by using a PC and programming software, Over-the-Air (OTA) programming by sending a numeric message to the pager, and Hand Programming by the NP40 user from the front panel buttons when allowed to do so. Alert types include beep, vibrate, beep + vibrate, and mute. Messages are date and time stamped. A single standard “AAA” alkaline battery powers the pager and provides battery life of about 60 days under typical operating conditions. The NP40 is RoHS environmentally compliant and has received certifications from FCC, CE, and DOC.
