Unication Alpha Legend Pager
The Unication Alpha Legend is a 4-Line Alphanumeric Pager that can display up to 20 characters per line and zoom to a 2-Line display with 10 larger characters per line. 19 personal messages can be stored in memory with each message capable of handling up to 2025 characters. 10 messages can be protected from being replaced when pager memory becomes full. The Alpha Legend is identical to the Unication Alpha Elegant pager with the exception being the number of available capcode addresses. The Alpha Legend has 16 addresses and 64 sub-addresses while the Alpha Elegant has half that number. The fully synthesized Legend pager uses POCSAG coding technology, has wideband channel spacing, and is operational in the VHF, UHF, or 900 MHz frequency ranges. The pager runs on one standard “AA” alkaline battery and has an expected battery life of 62 days when in 512 baud mode and receives 2 calls per day.
The Alpha Legend has 6 alerting modes – Alert, Alert and Vibrate, Vibrate then Alert, Vibrate, Chirp, and Silent. The pager has 16 alert patterns – 1 standard alert, 8 different pleasing alerts, and 7 different urgent alerts, 2 vibrate modes – continuous and interrupted, and escalating alert. Messaging features include message time stamp, message lock, duplicate message detection, message retention when changing the battery or turning the pager off, and delete individual messages or all messages. Other indicator features of the Alpha Legend are Graphic Battery Level, Error Data, Out of Range, On/Off Duty, Unread Messages, and Memory Full.
