NP88 Numeric POCSAG Pager

The NP88 is a synthesized Numeric POCSAG Pager with a 12 digit top-mounted display. 16 messages can be stored in memory and each message can contain 20 digits. 8 of these messages can be protected from replacement when the memory becomes full. NP88 POCSAG models are operational in the VHF, UHF, or 900 MHz frequency bands, have wideband channel spacing, 2 programmable capcode addresses, and run on a single “AAA” alkaline battery.

There are 4 selectable alert types available to the user from the front panel buttons – Audio, Chirp, Vibrate, and Silent. When the Audio alert type is selected, any of 5 alerting sequences can then be selected from the front button controls. Messaging features for the NP88 include Duplicate Message Detection, Selectively Erase Message or Erase All Messages, Message Time and Date Stamping, and Memory Retention that keeps the messages in memory when the pager is turned off or the battery replaced. Pager information and status indicators include Low Battery, Reminder Alert, and Message Overflow.
