Accessories that are included with the MD782G Mobile Radio are a palm microphone, microphone hanger, mounting bracket, GPS antenna, power cord and fuse. Product features include a user friendly, rugged, and reliable design, higher spectrum efficiency, higher channel capacity, secure communications, roaming and scanning capability, dual-mode feature (analog and digital), pseudo trunk function and one touch call/text among others.
Each channel on the mobile can be programmed as either an analog channel or a digital channel. In certain configurations, the user can switch between digital and analog modes. Calls can be transmitted or received as private, group, or all calls. Text messages can contain up to 256 characters and the text inbox can save up to 20 received messages. The text outbox can also save up to 20 sent messages. The Call Logs feature can save up to 10 entries in the lists Outgoing calls, Incoming calls, and Missed calls logs respectively.
In an emergency situation, the MD782G Emergency function has the highest priority and will operate even when the mobile radio is transmitting or receiving. There are three Emergency Modes (Emergency Alarm, Emergency Alarm with Call, Emergency Alarm with Voice to Follow) and for each Emergency Mode, there are four Emergency Types (Siren Only, Regular, Silent, Silent with Voice).
