The LX PLUS is an optional leg strap extension designed for use with the ULTRA and PLUS models of lifting devices. Made from the same 2” Biothane® web strapping material of the ULTRA and PLUS models, the LX PLUS extensions are easy to clean. Sold as a pair, the extensions are designed to allow greater range of attachment on patients having very large thighs. Snapping the extensions into the existing leg strap buckles produces an additional 18” of available strap length.
The Binder Lift PLUS MX is a lifting device that combines the construction material of the Original MX version with the BioThane® webstrapping material of the ULTRA MX version. The PLUS MX provides a safer way to lift and reduces the likelihood of a back injury by allowing multiple caregivers to assist with the lifting. The risk of injury to the patient is minimized by the attachment of a torso wrap to stabilize the individual while lifting. The PLUS MX is made of the same Cordura Denier 1000 nylon material as the Original MX model, but adds BioThane® webbing for the leg straps. Lift assist calls by nature tend to be messy with the leg straps being affected the most. Biothane® is chemically resistant and impervious to fluids, so cleanup can be a quick and easy wipedown.
The Binder Lift PLUS XLT is a compact and portable lifting device with easily attachable chest and leg straps. The PLUS XLT is a combination of both the Original XLT lifting device and the ULTRA XLT device. Made of the same Cordura Denier 1000 nylon material as the Original XLT version, the leg straps of the PLUS XLT use the improved BioThane® material of the ULTRA XLT. Biothane® is impervious to fluids, so cleanup is quick and easy using soap and water or sani-wipes. 2” heavy duty quick release buckles are rated at 250 lbs each. A foam cushioned top edge on all Binder Lift products acts to minimize patient discomfort.
The Binder Lift ULTRA MX is the smaller version of lifting devices from Binder in their premier line of products and has received the JEMS magazine 2014 Hot Product of the Year award. The Ultra series is made from chemically resistant Bondcote® vinyl coated polyester and BioThane® web strapping, making them impervious to bodily fluid absorption and ideal for messy or biohazard situations. Decontamination of serious bodily fluids can be accomplished quickly and easily with light amounts of hydrogen peroxide followed immediately by a soap and water rinse. The ULTRA MX allows for a safer way to lift patients and can eliminate body-to-body contact. A foam cushioned top edge minimizes patient discomfort and risk of injury.
The Binder Lift ULTRA XLT is the larger version of devices from Binder in their premier line of lifting products and has received the 2014 Hot Product of the Year award from JEMS magazine. Designed to minimize the risk of back injuries to caregivers in lifting situations, the ULTRA XLT is made with Bondcote® vinyl coated polyester and BioThane® web strapping. These materials are chemically resistant and impervious to bodily fluids, making cleanup with soap, water, and a disinfectant an easy matter. Compact, portable, and easily attachable, the ULTRA XLT permits “team” lifting and reduces the need for bodily contact. A unique torso wrap design provides superior patient stabilization and minimizes any further injury to the individual during the lifting procedure.
