The Binder Lift LX is an optional leg strap extension set to be used with Original MX and XLT lifting devices. The LX is made of the same 2” polypropylene webbing as the Original products and comes in a set of two. The leg strap extensions are designed for patients who may be extra tall or have overly large thighs. Once the extensions are snapped into the existing leg strap buckles, an extra 18” is added to the length of the leg straps.
The Binder Lift Original MX is the baseline model in the Binder line of lifting devices, providing a safer way to lift injured or incapacitated individuals by using proper lifting techniques. Attachment of a torso wrap provides patient stabilization and multiple lifting handles allow personnel to use their legs instead of their backs during a lift. Hand holds and leg straps are made of 2” polypropylene web strapping with 1200 lb breaking strength. A 1-1/2” closed cell foam cushion along the upper edge of the MX allows for greater patient comfort. Constructed of Cordura Denier 1000 Nylon with an anti-absorbent heat sealed coating on the interior surface, the Original MX is fully machine or hand washable. This device has won product awards from both EMS World (2013 Innovation Award) and EMS Today (2014 Hot Product).
The Binder Lift Original XLT is a larger version of the Original MX lifting device and is designed for overweight or obese patients who require a larger device to fit around them. The XLT is an economical baseline unit that permits “team” lifting while also reducing the need to call for additional help. Made of Cordura Denier 1000 nylon with 2” polypropylene webstrapping for hand holds and leg straps, the Original XLT can be easily cleaned with a sani-wipe or machine washed. A 1-1/2” closed cell foam cushion is located along the upper edge of the XLT for increased patient comfort.
